Working Process Management
Nowadays companies are under a continuous process of change, driven by volatility of the market and the short life cycle of products. This demands fundamental changes in the organization structuring domain. In cooperation with the Politehnica University of Bucharest, as part of my PhD thesis, I developed the EPM – Method (Empirical Process Management Method).
EPM=Working Process Management + Experience + Communication
The objective of the method is the construction of a process portal, with minimal expenses, time and effort.
Only the main activities and their correlation will be modeled and transferred as functional structure in the Business Communication Platform®.
The objective of the procedure is first to understand daily business and its challenges of the company employees.
The employees from one department of the company will register their experiences, from the daily business, through a simple operation. The registration will be made in the BCP Business Communication Platform® and it will focus on its main activities. These will be automatically transferred in measures, where we are using, workflow - technologies including Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server.
The employee’s information generates, as a sum, the realizable improvement potential. The outcome of this number of measures is a detailed improvement potential.
The accountable persons in the company will have therefore the possibility and the instruments to implement effectively the reorganizations measures. The process portal will grow according to the company’s’ needs, the employees will also work to continuously expand it.
On the basis of those procedures you are automatic complying with the requirements for:
- Integrated quality management [ Quality management ]
- Process-oriented project management [ Project mangement ]
For the modeling of the Working processes we are recommending the use of SemTalk BCP Edition Version 3. http://www.semtalk.de
